Sticks have recently recorded a 60-minute CD, Between the Downs. All 13 tracks relate in some way to the Sussex-Hampshire area, and include traditional songs from the Copper Family, and tunes from the playing of Scan Tester. The inspiration for the music came originally from an unsual book entitled A272 Ode to a Road, by Dutchman Pieter Boogaart, published by Pallas Athene. One of the tracks was used on a Carlton Country TV programme which also featured Pieter Boogaart's book.
Between the Downs is available, price £11.50 (incl. postage etc.) from the contact numbers below.
Sticks have performed at folk clubs, festivals, arts centres, a theatre and in pubs and cafes. They are available for these are other types of bookings.
